Bring your own source
NextGen is player software. It does not supply media, playlists, accounts or IPTV access, and does not recommend providers.
Add a remote M3U/M3U8 URL or an Xtream connection. Start with the M3U setup guide or Xtream setup guide.
Browse and organise
Free includes one playlist, full browsing and search, up to five favourites and individual Hide actions. Playback uses one persistent 30-minute cumulative evaluation; reopening the app does not reset it.
Pro adds unlimited playback, multiple playlists and profiles, unlimited favourites and batch Hidden Content management. Pro unlocks app functionality only. See the App Store purchase sheet for current prices and terms.
Programme guides from your source
Use provider EPG data or an optional custom XMLTV guide. Matching depends on the identifiers, names and data supplied by your source; coverage is not guaranteed for every channel.
Optional Pro iCloud sync
Sync supported connection and personal state when enabled. Provider catalogues, EPG data, artwork caches and downloaded media are not synced.
Designed for each device
- Apple TV: dark appearance and focus-led navigation using the Siri Remote.
- iPhone and iPad: touch-first browsing, with Pro downloads for supported films and episodes. Downloads are not available for every item.
- Mac: resizable windows, sidebar navigation, keyboard and pointer interaction.
