Add an Xtream playlist

Before you start

You need NextGen, a network connection and an Xtream base URL, username and password from a source you are authorised to access. NextGen does not issue accounts or credentials. Free supports one saved playlist; multiple playlists require Pro.

Keep all connection details private. Prefer HTTPS when your source supports it; HTTP connections are not encrypted in transit.

Add your connection

1. Open playlist setup and choose Xtream Codes.
2. Enter a playlist name that helps you recognise it.
3. Enter your source's base URL.
4. Enter your username in the username field.
5. Enter your password in the password field.
6. Choose whether to fetch provider EPG programme-guide data.
7. Add the playlist and wait for import to complete.

Illustrative values are https://source.example, YOUR_USERNAME and YOUR_PASSWORD. These are non-working placeholders. Enter your own details only in the app.

What happens next

After a successful import, browse and search the items supplied by your source. If EPG is available, matched programme information can appear. Coverage is not guaranteed for every channel.

If connection fails

Check the base URL, username and password privately against your source details. Keep each value in its own field. Check your network connection and source availability. After changing a saved connection, refresh the playlist.
